Twenty-five years ago, I packed up my life in California and moved to Seattle. I didn't just change zip codes; I changed soundtracks.
From the concrete and steel of the Kingdome to the nights watching my beloved Mariners in my favorite section — "The Pen" — with the diehard fans Seattle generates. I fell in love with this City for many reasons: its resilience, loyalty, and inclusion. Seattle fans are like no other fans. We are loyal to a fault, fiercely supportive, win or lose. We are willing to pay the steep emotional tax that comes with champion-crowned seasons, or a loss that ends a historic run. The Pacific Northwest has a long and amazing story to tell, and we will tell that story in our apparel line.
Rain City Rhapsody was born out of a desire for something better than loud, cheap logos and generic corporate merch. It's an apparel project dedicated to the true fan's experience — the intersection of Seattle's historic past, its legendary music underground, and its bright new chapters.
Because let's be honest: being a fan here means living in the tension of three distinct eras.
